About StackGuide

StackGuide is an English-language site of original setup and deployment guides for commercially licensed open-source GitHub projects, with a focus on AI tools and developer tools.

What we aim to do differently

Many setup articles repeat a README, guess at missing steps, or quietly go out of date. StackGuide tries to avoid all three: each guide is written in its own words, every command and version is checked against the project's current README or documentation, and each guide lists its sources so you can verify a step yourself.

When the official docs do not state something — a hardware minimum, for example — the guide says so, rather than inventing a number. When a guide is checked, the date of that check is stated at the end.

How guides are made

Guides are AI-assisted and checked against official documentation, as described on the disclosure page. They are not official documentation, and they are not a substitute for the project's own docs for your exact version.

Site name

Three short, brandable names were considered for this site: StackGuide, SetupForge, and GuideLoop. StackGuide was chosen and is used throughout the site.

What this site is not

StackGuide does not host the projects it covers, does not sell them, and does not claim to be affiliated with them. Project names, trademarks, and licences belong to their respective owners, and each guide attributes the project it covers.
