AI-assisted guides, checked against official documentation
Guides on StackGuide are AI-assisted and checked against the official documentation of the project they cover, as of the date stated at the end of each guide. They are written in original words, not copied or translated from a README, and they list their sources so readers can verify steps.
Open-source projects, licences, and attribution
Each guide is based on an open-source project and includes attribution and a link to that project's licence near the top of the guide. StackGuide does not own those projects, and nothing on this site transfers or changes their licences. If you reuse project code, check the licence file for the version you use.
Affiliate links and advertising
Guides may contain affiliate links in future. If an affiliate link is added, it will be identified as such, and StackGuide may earn a commission if you make a purchase through it, at no extra cost to you. Advertising slots on the site are clearly marked and are currently empty. See the privacy policy for how third-party advertising may use cookies in future.
Cover illustrations on this site are AI-generated for StackGuide in a consistent abstract tech style, with no text, brand logos, or real people in them. Social cards reuse those covers with the page title added.
Product screenshots and visuals are published by the projects themselves in their GitHub repositories or READMEs, are stored locally on this site, and remain the property of their projects under their own licences. Each such image carries a caption crediting "Image: <project> (GitHub), <licence>" and linking its source. Project owner avatars are taken from GitHub owner profiles and are used only to identify the project owner. Where a project had no usable published image, no screenshot was invented for it.
Embedded videos on this site belong to their projects. YouTube videos load only after you press play, from youtube-nocookie.com, and repo-hosted videos stream from the project's own repository files; no video files are copied into this site. Each video carries a caption crediting "Video: <project> official demo" and linking its source. Where a project published or linked no official demo video, none was added for it.
No guarantee
Guides are provided for general information. Software changes quickly: if a guide no longer matches your installed version, follow the project's official documentation for that version, and check its issue tracker for known problems.
