Privacy Policy

What StackGuide collects
StackGuide is a static website. At launch, it does not include tracking scripts, analytics, or a contact form, and it does not ask you to create an account. The only preference stored in your browser is your light/dark theme choice, saved locally on your device by a tiny script; that preference is not sent to StackGuide or to any third party by this site.
Cookies
This site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies at launch. If you follow a link to an external site, that site may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Third-party advertising and affiliate links in future
StackGuide is designed so that advertising and affiliate links may be added in future, including through networks such as Google AdSense. If and when that happens, third-party ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may collect information as described in their own privacy policies. Affiliate links, if added, may set cookies to record a referral. This policy will be updated before or when such services are added, and ad slots on the site are clearly marked.
External links
Guides link to project repositories, documentation, and issue trackers. StackGuide is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
