Refund Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026.
This policy applies to purchases of StackGuide digital products: the Self-Hosted AI Lab Kit, the Private AI Starter Pack, and the bundle of both.
The policy
Refunds are available within 3 days of purchase only if a file is corrupted or the product materially does not match its description. Buyers should first email [email protected] so we can send a fixed file.
The window is 3 days, and the only grounds are a corrupted file or a product that materially does not match its description. What follows explains how this policy sits alongside Creem's rules and the law — those limits are not an extension of the 3-day window, and where they conflict with it, they are flagged below rather than hidden.
What this means in practice
Both products are digital downloads delivered instantly after purchase, and no setup service is included. That is why the policy is narrow: once a download has been delivered, it cannot be returned in the way a physical product can. Read the requirements and, for the Starter Pack, the honest testing note on its product page before you buy, and ask [email protected] if anything is unclear.
How to make a request
Email [email protected] with:
- The product you bought and the date of purchase, if you know them.
- What went wrong, in your own words.
- For an install problem, the exact error message — the Starter Pack guide's Troubleshooting section lists the real errors and their fixes, so check that first.
Do not send passwords, API keys, or other secrets by email. We aim to reply to refund requests within 3 business days. That response aim matters because Creem's account-review guidance says that if a merchant does not respond to customer requests within 3 business days, Creem may issue a refund on the merchant's behalf.
Who issues a refund, and who decides
Creem is the merchant of record and handles payment and tax, and all refunds and chargebacks for transactions through Creem are handled exclusively by Creem — the seller does not process refunds outside Creem. The seller determines refund eligibility under the policy above and requests any refund through Creem; Creem then processes it under its own procedures and applicable law. Approved refunds are issued by Creem to the original payment method.
How Creem can override this policy
Creem's own rules can produce a refund even where this 3-day policy would not, and this page does not pretend otherwise:
- Creem's discretion to prevent chargebacks: Creem reserves the right to issue refunds within 60 days of purchase at its discretion to protect against chargebacks, even if the seller maintains a narrower policy. That 60-day discretion is Creem's, not an extension of the seller's 3-day window.
- Creem's discretion under its Merchant Terms: Creem may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund without prior instruction from the seller where required by law or consumer-protection regulations, mandated by card schemes, payment providers or regulators, due to technical errors, duplicate payments or manifest mistakes, or where there are suspected fraudulent payments or purchase disputes.
- Chargebacks: Buyers retain the ability to initiate a chargeback with their card provider at any time, even under a “no refunds” or narrow-refund policy. Creem manages chargebacks on the seller's behalf and typically processes a full refund if one is lost; the final decision rests with the payment provider. Creem's Buyer Terms ask buyers not to initiate a chargeback without first contacting Creem to resolve the issue.
- Unresolved issues: Under Creem's Buyer Terms, a buyer should first contact the merchant (as this policy requires), and if a long-standing issue persists and cannot be resolved directly with the merchant, the buyer may contact Creem through its Customer Portal or other contact options, and Creem will take appropriate steps within its discretion. Creem's customer help page separately says that if the merchant is unresponsive for more than 7 days, the buyer should contact Creem support.
- Creem's Buyer Terms prevail: If this policy conflicts with Creem's Buyer Terms on a payment matter, Creem's Buyer Terms prevail, and Creem's Merchant Terms likewise prevail over conflicting product-specific terms.
EU consumers and statutory rights
This 3-day policy does not remove any statutory rights you have. In particular, for EU consumers, Creem's Buyer Terms provide that the right of withdrawal for digital content not delivered on a physical medium does not apply where the consumer has given prior express consent for delivery to start before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period and has expressly agreed that the right of withdrawal does not apply, acknowledging the loss of that right. For other products not covered by that rule, a consumer may have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days. Separately, if digital content or a digital service does not comply with the product's terms, EU consumers may rely on the legal remedies provided by law, which can include requiring performance, compensation, withdrawing from or cancelling the contract, or reducing the price. Whether the withdrawal-loss consent applies to a given purchase depends on what was presented and agreed at checkout through Creem; this page does not claim that consent has been obtained in any particular case. Creem's Buyer Terms are here: Creem Buyer Terms.
What Creem expects a store to show
Creem's account-review checklist for a store before live payments requires, among other things: a product that is ready and clearly visible so reviewers can understand what is being sold, pricing clearly displayed and easy to find, a Privacy Policy and Terms of Service present and accessible on the website, a reachable customer-support email shown on the website, and no false information such as fake reviews, testimonials, or inflated user counts. This site meets those items as follows: pricing on /pricing/ ($19, $29, $39), product descriptions on the two product pages, terms of sale, privacy policy, this refund policy, and support email [email protected] on the contact page and on purchase pages. Creem's checklist does not name a standalone refund page as a separate line item, but refund eligibility is part of the product-specific terms that Creem's Buyer Terms refer to, which is why this page is kept separate and linked from pricing, terms, and both product pages. No testimonials, sales figures, or ratings are claimed anywhere on this site.
