Terms of Sale

Last updated: October 30, 2026.

These terms apply to purchases of StackGuide digital products. The free guides on this site are separate: they are general information, as described on the disclosure page.

Seller: StackGuide. Contact: [email protected].

Products and prices

The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Prices are shown in US dollars; any applicable tax is handled by Creem as merchant of record (see Payment and tax below).

Payment and tax

Creem is the merchant of record and handles payment and tax. Payment details are handled by Creem under its own terms and privacy policy; this static site does not collect card details. Before you complete a purchase, you will also be shown Creem's Buyer Terms, which govern your purchase from Creem as merchant of record: Creem Buyer Terms. If these terms of sale conflict with Creem's Buyer Terms or Merchant Terms on a payment matter, Creem's terms prevail. See the privacy policy for how purchase information is handled.

Delivery

Delivery is an instant digital download after purchase. No setup service is included: you download the files and follow the included guide, workbook, or scripts yourself. No physical product is shipped, and no account is created on this site by buying.

Licences

Buying a kit gives you a licence to use that kit under its own buyer licence, as summarised on its product page: personal and commercial use in your own work is allowed; reselling, redistributing, sharing publicly, or giving away the kit itself, in whole or in part, is not allowed.

You pay for the kit and its guide or workbook, not for the open-source software inside it. Ollama is MIT, AnythingLLM is MIT, and Caddy is Apache-2.0. Those projects' licences, and each model's own licence, are separate and govern your use of that software or model. Nothing on this site transfers ownership of that software to you, and StackGuide does not claim to be the author of, or an official product of, those projects.

Refunds

Refund policy: Refunds are available within 3 days of purchase only if a file is corrupted or the product materially does not match its description. Buyers should first email [email protected] so we can send a fixed file. See the refund policy page for the full wording, how to make a request, and the limits on this policy: refunds and chargebacks are handled exclusively by Creem as merchant of record, Creem may issue a refund at its discretion in the cases its terms allow (including where required by law, card-scheme rules, or to prevent a chargeback), and this 3-day policy does not remove any statutory rights you have, including the EU withdrawal rules described on the refund page. If this policy conflicts with Creem's Buyer Terms, Creem's Buyer Terms prevail.

No warranty

Digital products are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. In particular: VRAM and RAM figures in the Lab Kit are estimates, not guarantees; model facts should be re-checked on the official model card; and the Starter Pack's testing limits are stated plainly on its product page — including what has not been tested (Windows, macOS, NVIDIA GPU, a real domain with TLS, and the default 3B model). Back up before updates and before moving machines. If a guide or kit no longer matches your installed version, follow the project's official documentation for that version.

Changes

If these terms change materially, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. The terms in force at the time of your purchase apply to that purchase.
