StackGuide AI

Digital product · Cloudflare Worker + widget

Answer your visitors,
from your own FAQ.

One script tag adds an AI support chat to your website. It answers only from the FAQ and knowledge file you write — never from the open internet, never a guessed price or policy. No monthly SaaS, no hosted dashboard, no human handoff: just your knowledge, your AI key, your Cloudflare account.

What's inside

A standalone Cloudflare Worker (routing, CORS, /health, /widget.js, POST /api/chat), the one-script widget (shadow DOM, keyboard accessible, no framework, no tracking, no external fonts), a complete sample knowledge file for a fictional shop, and a zero-to-live tutorial plus FAQ and troubleshooting docs. Zero runtime dependencies.

Guardrails included: out-of-scope questions and prompt-injection attempts are refused before any model call; discount-code requests get a generic "no code" reply; every refusal and "I don't know" answer includes your support email; messages are capped at 500 characters and history at the last 10 turns; per-IP rate limits apply.

Who it's for

For: small shops and solo founders who already answer the same five questions by email and want a chat box that only quotes their own FAQ — and who are comfortable running npx wrangler deploy from a terminal.

Not for: anyone who wants a hosted dashboard, a human handoff inbox, order lookups, or a general-purpose chatbot that answers anything. This kit answers only from your knowledge file, by design.

What you need

A Cloudflare account (free tier works for the Worker) and, before your first deploy, a registered workers.dev subdomain — or your own domain/route configured in wrangler.toml. Without one of those, the first deploy fails; the tutorial walks through it.

For AI, pick one: Workers AI (the default, no external key) or your own OpenAI-compatible provider key, set as a secret with wrangler secret put API_KEY. When you use an external provider you must also set MODEL to the provider's current model name. Deploy is CLI only: npm run build, then npx wrangler deploy. There is no public repo and no one-click deploy button.

Your costs, honestly

The kit is a one-time download, not a hosted service. We do not host your chat and we do not pay your AI bill. You pay your own Cloudflare and AI provider costs, and you must set a spending cap or quota at your provider: the kit's rate limits are abuse controls, not billing controls, and requests without an Origin header are only rate-limited, never blocked by the CORS allowlist.

No monthly fee for the kit itself. No setup service is included — you deploy it yourself, following the tutorial.

All sales final

All sales are final: digital products are non-refundable once purchased — including for change of mind or buying the wrong licence once you have downloaded the files. If your download fails or a file is corrupted, we repair or re-send it; email [email protected]. Duplicate charges are handled by Creem. Full wording: Delivery & Non-Refundable Policy.

Licence & updates

Non-transferable. You may use the kit for your own customers under the licence you bought; an agency may deploy it for a client, but the licence itself is not transferred — a client who wants their own copy must buy it. You may not resell, redistribute, share, publish or give away the kit itself, or use it to build a competing product for sale.

Free updates for 12 months from purchase. The full licence is inside the download (LICENSE.md). The AI models and providers you connect to have their own terms — you accept those directly with the provider.

Purchase details. After you pay, Creem emails you the download link and a Customer Portal link immediately — that email is the way back to your order. No StackGuide account is created. If the email is missing, see My orders. Seller: StackGuide AI. Prices: $49 single-site, $129 multi-site (up to 5 sites), one-time, in US dollars. Creem is the merchant of record and handles payment and tax. Delivery is an instant digital download after purchase; no setup service is included. Questions: [email protected].
